Outing - 10 September 2016 - Garage Safari

The "Garage Safari" was hosted by Leon Van den Berg and incorporated a visit to Oscar Eybers's collection.

The event was well supported by the members.   The group met at the clubhouse and proceeded from there out to Oscar's premises, about 10km out of town.  Oscar has a collection consisting primarily of Porsches and Alfas and couple of VW Beetles.  By all accounts this is a collection worth seeing.

At Leon's private home everybody was treated to a stunning display of part of his collection of vintage and classic cars.  Everybody enjoyed a bring-and-braai with Leon and his family.  Once again the Garage Safari was a most interesting event and thoroughly enjoyed by all the members.   A very big thank you to Oscar and Leon for accommodating the car club.
