Another show, another successful day.
All-in-all we were blessed with ideal weather and a superb attendance by the general public. Once again we had an unbelievable turnout of the pre WW11 vintage vehicle and will endeavour to keep up the high standards achieved.
Various clubs were well represented, namely Volvo, Alfa Romeo, Vryheid Old Wheels, Natal Midlands Club, Early Car Club, Old Tooter Club, Early Car Club and the private Ford collection of Hennie Kritzinger. The Volvo Owners Club, who have dubbed their departure to the VVCC the "Walk to Vryheid", have completed their 8th consecutive year and displayed 25 vehicles this year. We were also well supported by privately owned and club owned motorcycles. All club support is imperative to these charity events and all car clubs, vintage and classic alike, are invited to support the show and become an institution like the Volvo members.
To the Vintage and Classic Car fraternity who have yet to attend this event, you are encouraged to diarise the annual upcoming car show for 2016. For additional information regarding the proposed 2016 annual car show, contact our secretarty - Mr Dieter Oltmann at 082 496 3518.
