2010 Car Show

The Vryheid Vintage Car Club is holding its Annual Vintage/Classic Car Show on
19 June 2010. All vintage and classic car clubs are invited to join us at the Vryheid High School Rugby Field to display their vehicles.

Do you own a vintage, classic or exotic car or motorbike? A vintage tractor or stationary engine? Please come and display it!!!! All new car dealers welcome!!!!

2009 YEAR END FUNCTION

DIE PRYSUITDELING

Na 'n baie opwindende middag het ons almal daardie aand bymekaargekom om 'n heerlike kersete en die prysuitdeling te geniet. Vanjaar is die kersete deur Ria en haar helpers voorberei. The club ladies could all sit back and enjoy the lovely meal without having to prepare anything themselves. Thank you to Ria for the delicious meal. Vryheid is proud to have a caterer like you in our midst. Gordon Warde het almal verwelkom en daarna het hy die wenners van die "rally" aangekondig.

2009 YEAR END RALLY

The rally started at the Padda-Dam with Harvie and Cassie handing out the route details and setting the cars off at one and a half minute intervals.

Die klassieke motors en antieke motors is op verskillende roetes gestuur. En sommer van die beginpunt af het party mense verkeerd gery!

The route led us in and out of the town as well as into the district, all the way to the Vryheid Landbouskool and back.

Ek is net bewus van twee motors wat probleme gegee het, naamlik Hendrik se Chrysler en Malcolm se Mini Moke.

It was quite nerve wrecking for the navigators. Some of these were ladies who had never navigated before.



The rally had two checkpoints manned by Harvie, Cassie and some of their helpers.

Van die lede wat deelgeneem het woon nie in Vryheid nie en dus was die roete op party plekke 'n bietjie misleidend maar hulle het tog uiteindelik die eindpunt bereik.
